St. Cloud State senior quarterback Phil Klaphake has been named a finalist for the 2013 Harlon Hill Trophy. Klaphake is one of 28 candidates in consideration for the award, given to the nation's top NCAA Division II football player.

The Princeton, MN native has completed 162 of 275 pass attempts this season for 2,275 yards and 20 touchdowns. He is also dangerous with his feet, rushing for 474 yards and eight touchdowns this season.

The Huskies are 9-1 this season and will host MSU-Moorhead Saturday in their regular-season finale.
