The Minnesota Wild defeated the Nashville Predators 4-0 in Nashville Sunday night for their fifth win in their last six games. Wild goaltender Darcy Kuemper made 23 saves to earn the shutout victory.

Dany Heatley and Jason Zucker each scored first period goals for Minnesota for a 2-0 lead after one period. Neither team scored in the second period.

Matt Cooke and Marco Scandella each notched third period tallies for the Wild to seal the 4-0 win.

Minnesota improves to 25-18-5 with the win and are currently in eighth place in the Western Conference, four points ahead of Phoenix.

The Wild host Ottawa Tuesday night.
