As a fan of all things rock-n-roll, there are a few bands that you HAVE TO like, otherwise we simply can’t be friends. Essential music for any rocker must include Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Aerosmith, The Beatles, and Foo Fighters (although I would love to add Tool to this list, I won’t because I know they’re an acquired taste.)

There’s one more band you have to like too – I’m talking about the mighty Led Zeppelin. Zeppelin is always hailed as the greatest rock band of all time (although I would argue Pink Floyd is superior in ways) and it’s understandable why.

Between Jimmy Page’s guitar riffs, Robert Plant’s soaring angelic voice, John Bonhams thumping drum grooves and incredible orchestrations from John Paul Jones, these guys were a force to be reckoned with. Of course, if you were ever hoping to see these guys live, you will be sorely disappointed.

The band split in 1980 and have only done occasional performances since, and if I were guessing I’d say that Celebration Day was their final hoorah. But don’t fret, you can still hear all those legendary songs played live when Zeppo plays the Le Musique Room in St. Michael this Friday (February 15th.)

These guys are all incredible musicians, and unlike most other Zeppelin tributes they aren’t an impersonator act (no costumes or personas.) Instead, the focus is solely on the music. The show starts at 8 pm and you can get a ticket online now for as little as $26.
