It might sound gross but based on research from the University of Arizona  your dog's saliva might help your allergies.

We're not exposed to as much good bacteria like back in the day at least based on theory, however; dogs are.

Some studies found that kids who grow up with dogs tend to have far less allergies.

It's okay to let your dog lick your face dog (sorry just sneezed).

It appears there is something in the dog's saliva, dogs tend to  pick up bacteria by licking things and rolling around in whatever which helps kids build up resistance.

Keep in mind if you have an allergy to dogs, it's probably not a good idea.then letting one lick your face probably isn't a good idea.  If you have an allergy to pollen, hey let your dog lick away.
