This has got to be one of the cooler stories that I have heard.  The owners of Little Caesar's Pizza in Fargo noticed that there were some homeless people that had been going through their garbage and pulling out left over pizza and eating it because they were obviously hungry.  The owners thought that maybe they didn't want to hang out on the street corner asking for hand outs, and they would just check out the garbage instead.

After noticing this, they decided that it would be a good idea to just offer them a slice or two of free pizza- without them having to go through the garbage anymore,  This has been going on for about 2 years, and they have given away over 142.000 slices of pizza to homeless people in the Fargo/Moorhead area.  That makes up about $70,000 worth of pizza.

Last year, one of the owners passed away from cancer.  But his wife has carried on the tradition.  Some local people will help out and leave some cash behind the counter, but mostly this is done just out of good will.  There is a gofundme page too... if you'd like to contribute, but either way, the pizza will still be going to the homeless.

I think all the Little Caesar's should do this.  How cool, right?
