As heard on the February 4th show:

1. Woman Brings Kangaroo to McDonalds in Wisconsin

Because kangaroos... make the best pets?  Well, I don't know about that, but one woman brought her little joey into a Wisconsin McDonalds and when asked to remove the animal she claimed it was her service pet and she even had a doctor's note.  Maybe this kind of thing happens all the time in Australia, but I'm sure this threw our cheese head neighbors for a loop.

2. Uncomfortable Things That are Good For You

Dressing up for work sucks.  Suits are uncomfortable and make you feel stiff, but they can also help improve your posture.  Did you know that stress can be beneficial to your brain?  Short periods of stress can actually help you create new brain cells.  We need all the help we can get in the brain cell department.

 3. Seat Up or Seat Down Dilemma Solved by Science

When you think of all the things scientists are spending their time doing, you think of things outside of most people's comprehension and really big words that are hard to pronounce.  But even the people who study rock science type stuff have arguments over leaving the toilet seat up.  Two male scientists cracked the numbers, conducted experiments and found that the best thing to do is to just leave the seat however you just used it.  Huh.  Scientists.  They're just like us.

 4. Happiest Workers in America

Who are the happiest workers of all?  Construction workers!  Just like in Office Space, when the main guy leaves his tech job for a construction job where he finally finds happiness at work.   Who knew there was something to that?  Career to avoid?  Manufacturing workers claimed to be the most dissatisfied with their jobs according to this survey.

 5. Cat Hat Photo Trend

LOL Cats.  People love them.  Jesse loves them.  Lucy loves watching videos of them.  Why are we so fascinated by cats?  Regardless, a new photo trend is popping up online in which people are placing cats on their heads and snapping a selfie.  Pretty stupid, but that's the internet for you.

 6. Cub Scouts Hike to Nude Beach

What started as a normal hike adventure for one Cub Scout Troop in San Diego, ended with parents having to give their nine and ten-year-old boys the birds and the bees talk.  The scout leader took the kids on a path that's he's traveled many times with his own family and said it was never an issue.  The only issue was, the trail took the kids to a nude beach.  Wonder if there's a badge for that?

 7. World's Largest Date

Starbucks and Match.com and coming together on February 13th in an attempt to bring others together romantically.  On Friday, February 13th, starting at 2 p.m. Starbucks locations will be playing romantic music and will be offering special menu pairings for guests.  They will also have some fun photo props so people can share their coffee date on social media.  So, instead of trying a go of things at the bar like usual this year, maybe try finding love over a cup of coffee.
