Lynyrd Skynyrd Working On New Album

Lynyrd Skynyrd has officially announced they plan to release a new album later this year. We haven't seen anything new from Skynyrd since 2009's 'God & Guns' so this is exciting.

If you are going to see Skynyrd in concert this summer (they are doing shows with ZZ Top) you most likely won't be hearing any of the new music. Frontman Johnny Van Zant says the songs aren't more than rough cuts at this time and aren't ready to be played live.
