BRAINERD - A Brainerd man has been hospitalized after the motorized bike he was driving collided with a car.

The State Patrol says it happened at about 7:00 p.m. last (Monday) night in Brainerd.

Forty-year-old Troy Thompson was leaving a gas station on his motorized bike when he was struck by a car driven by 50-year-old Kerri Nord of Nisswa. Her passenger was 29-year-old Andrew Nelson of Sauk Rapids.

Thompson was taken to North Memorial with serious injuries. Nord and Nelson were not hurt.
