"Time" magazine has a new feature "Find Out What Your Name Would be if You Were Born Today."  It looks up the popularity of your name the year you were born, then shows you where that name is ranked today.

The popularity of your is most likely far different today than it was the year you were born.

Name trends are provided by the Social Security Admin. " Whenever names were tied for popularity in a given year or decade, they were assigned the same rank. This tool only searches for names of the same gender as what you enter." (Time)

Here's an idea on how it works: It  will look up the popularity of your name from the year you were born, then shows you what name is currently ranked in that same spot today.

If born in 1977 and named Benjamin, that was the 29th most popular name that year. Today the 29th most popular name is  Christopher. "Hi Christopher!"

It will show shows you what your name would've been in other decades too.
