A brand new memorial garden just opened in Britain to honor late former Beatle George Harrison.

According to NME, the Bhaktivedanta Manor George Harrison Memorial Garden in Hertfordshire just opened to the public.

The memorial garden opened on property once owned by George. The property was donated in 1973 to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and according to George's widow, Olivia, she is very pleased with the way it turned out and says that the garden is "a manifestation in the material world of which he would be very proud."

This actually isn't the first time George has been memorialized with a garden. A Life to Life Memorial Garden opened in 2008 as part of the Chelsea Flower Show.

The current memorial garden is in a space that George particularly enjoyed and opened to the public on the center's 40th anniversary.
