Once in awhile a new band comes along with some young guys who weren't even born by 1980 that capture the spirit of the Classic Metal Bands.  "3 Inches Of Blood" is a perfect example.  They are one of the few new Metal bands that has been able to bridge the past with the present.  They are heavy and fast enough for the youth, but still have the melodic twin guitars and anthem-style songs to attract the Classic Metal fans.

They have moved more towards the traditional Metal as time goes on.  They still have two vocalists, Cam Pipes does more clean singing and they have a second "screamer" in the band to beef up the sound.  Regardless what you think of their sound, these Canadians have been vital in keeping a strong underground Metal scene thriving.
