Metal After Midnight: Accept “Balls To The Walls”

Most people think of the Scorpions as Germany's biggest import, and they would be right.  But another band called Accept had a major influence on Metal back in the late 70's and early 80's.  Most people know them from their 1984 hit "Balls To The Walls", but in fact they had several albums before and after that.

The band has split apart and tried new singers and they actually still exist today.  Most people still attribute their success to the little man with a big voice Udo Dirkschneider, who has had a lengthy and successful career with his own band U.D.O. since leaving the band in the late 80's and early 90's.
