Metal After Midnight: Lordi “Rock N’ Roll Hallelujah”

Ok, it's time for a new band in "Metal After Midnight" that was influenced by the classic days of Metal."Lordi" is a Finnish band that looks a little like Gwar but is more influenced by Kiss and Alice Cooper.  They also infuse Horror and a wicked sense of humor into their music.

The idea for the band came way back in the mid-90's but it wasn't until the early 2000's that the band really got moving forward.  In 2006 they shocked everyone by winning the Eurovision Award, which is similar to our American Idol program or a show of that nature.

"Lordi" is not for everyone, but they do pay tribute to the Classic Rock & Metal from days past, and at the very least they are entertaining.
