Metallica Nominated for Two Kerrang! Awards

Metallica is up for a few Kerrang! awards. 

Kerrang! Magazine is a British based magazine dedicated to hard rock and heavy metal and it's not that bad. I was a devoted reader of Metal Edge back in the day, so Kerrang is right up my alley.

Kerrang asked their readers to nominate their favorite new band, favorite international band, favorite British band, favorite TV show, best comedian, favorite tweeter, hottest male, hottest female, favorite movie, and best tour and the readers nominated Metallica in a couple of those categories.

Metallica is up for best international band and their film Through The Never is up for best movie. Gene Simmons is nominated for best tweeter and Iron Maiden is on the list for best British band.

You can vote for yourself here. The awards will be handed out in London June 12.
