Mick Jagger Comments On Girlfriend’s Death

Yesterday, we told you about Mick Jagger's girlfriend dying in an apparent suicide and today, Mick has released a statement. 

Sources close to the couple say that Mick Jagger is “shocked and devastated” about his girlfriend’s death.  Mick and fashion designer L’Wren Scott had been dating since 2001 and were last seen together in Los Angeles at the launch of her collection for retail chain Banana Republic in November.

The New York Daily News reported the death yesterday saying that Scott had sent a text message to her assistant at 8:30am asking her to come over. When she got there, she found Scott hanging by a scarf from a doorknob in her Manhattan apartment. Foul play is not suspected, but an autopsy will be conducted just in case and to determine an official cause of death.

Rumors are swirling as to why such a young, beautiful and successful business woman would suddenly commit suicide, however, recent records show Scott was terribly in debt; as much as $6 million dollars

The Rolling Stones are on tour and were getting ready for a show in Perth, Australia Wednesday, but that show has been indefinitely postponed.

Scott has dressed some of the most famous women in the world, including First Lady Michele Obama.
