After selecting cornerback Trae Waynes from Michigan State in the first round last night, the Minnesota Vikings have selected linebacker Eric Kendricks from UCLA with they round-2 pick tonight in Chicago. Not hard to feel Mike Zimmer's influence on this year's draft.

From MinnesotaVikings.com:

2014: Second-team AP All-American. Butkus Award Winner. Lott IMPACT Award Winner. Second-team All-Pac-12. Led team with 149 tackles.
