Motley Man Killed After Falling Off Tractor

MOTLEY - A Motley man has been killed in a farm accident.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 72-year-old James Nelson was backing up a tractor when he struck a tree, which knocked him to the ground. Nelson was found dead underneath the tractor, trapped under a tire.

The incident happened at about 5:45 p.m. Thursday near a home along Highway 10 about two miles south of Motley.
