Motorcycle Driver Taken To St. Cloud Hospital By Air Ambulance After Crash

BROOTEN - A Starbuck man was airlifted to St. Cloud hospital after the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 3:20 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) on County Road 27 near Brooten.

Sixty-five-year-old Allen Berg was heading south when he hit the deer, causing him to lose control and go into the ditch.

He was not wearing a helmet.

His injuries are listed as non life-threatening.
