Movember 2014: Day 7 (Supporting Men’s Health)
It’s been great walking around our building this week, seeing many of my male co-workers (aka Mo Bros) growing a mustache in the name of changing the face of men’s health. Raising awareness and funds committed to combatting prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems during the month of Movember.
Everyone, myself included, looks pretty dang different. As guys, we’re historically bad at getting check-ups, screenings, and going to the doctor at the sign of trouble. (But if we catch a cold — watch out, the sky is falling.) These conversations are vital.
1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Think of two men you love (husbands, sons, dads, brothers) — is there someone you hope has a good outcome from their battle?
