Nazareth Scrap Remaining Concert Dates

Nazareth lead singer Dan McCafferty is not doing well, and the group is scrapping their remaining dates as a result.

I really hate being the bearer of bad news, so it pains me to talk about failing health and tour cancellations, and this is two in one.

Dan McCafferty, lead singer for Nazareth has had some bad health problems later and according to MetalTalk, they cut their performance short in Switzerland last week due to Dan having trouble breathing. Then they canceled their performance at a festival in Belgium after reports that Dan was in the hospital after suffering two strokes.

The same thing happened in Canada earlier this summer. Dan was short of breath and ended up collapsing on stage. The band isn’t commenting, but their entire tour page has been taken down from the band website.
