Even since one of the Real Housewives of DC ran off with Neal Schon, he has had to deal with the reality TV spotlight. So, is it more blinding than rock star status?

The Journey guitarist says that ever since he hooked up with Real Housewives of DC cast mate and White House party crasher, Michaele Salahi, life has been "kind of crazy".

Neal Schon says that even though he has been famous for decades, none of his other relationships have ever gotten this kind of attention. He says every time he's gotten an interview request, it has been to discuss a new Journey record, not to discuss his personal life, but he's not poo-pooing the new found attention. Neal says he's using it to his advantage. Of course he is. Journey front man Arnel Pineda has a new documentary out and Journey is hitting the road with Pat Benetar and Loverboy this summer. You can see them at the Minnesota State Fair on September 1.

You can also see Neal and Michaele at a day long event called How to be a Reality TV Star. Not only are Neal and Michaele taking part, Real Housewife of Orange County Gretchen Rossi and her boyfriend Slade Smiley. (I thought the show was for housewives and not random bed mates, but that's just me.) There will also be casting directors, workshops and opportunities to audition for new reality TV programs. As if there weren't enough of them already.

If you really feel like you want to go, the How to be a Reality TV Star Seminar is taking place in the west Texas town of El Paso on June 23.
