Neil Young’s new album was unveiled very quietly over the weekend for Record Store Day.

Neil Young’s new album A Letter Home was released over the weekend to celebrate Record Store Day.

A Letter Home is described by Neil as, “an unheard collection of rediscovered songs from the past recorded on ancient electro-mechanical technology” and it’s only available on 12 inch vinyl.

The album features Neil’s take on songs already made famous by other artists including Minnesota’s own Bob Dylan and was put out on Jack White’s label Third Man Records. At first the album was only available at paarticipating Record Store Day locations, but it is now in wide release and you can buy it at ThirdManStore.com.
