When it comes to singer songwriters, there are really only a handful that have impacted pop culture that heavily. Among them Bob Dylan, Kurt Cobain, Bob Seger, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, and Johnny Cash. Of course, another name that belongs on that list is the one and only – Neil Young, who is most famous for his classic anthem “Rockin’ In The Free World.”

If there’s one song that defined hippies in the 70s, it’s probably this one. Neil has been in the game for quite a long time at this point. He’s been a working musician for over four decades. That’s pretty impressive if you ask me. To be honest, he isn’t really my cup of tea, but I happen to know a lot of people who adore his work.

If you happen to be one such person, you’ll be thrilled to hear that Mr. Young has recently announced a handful of U.S. tour dates. He’s even playing three dates in Minneapolis. He’ll be hitting Pantages Theatre on January 26th, the Orpheum Theatre January 28th, and the State Theatre on January 29th.
