During the summer, I’m always looking for cool events to check out. There certainly aren’t any shortage of them here. It seems like there’s some sort of cool festival or neat event going on all the time in Minnesota. I’ve had a pretty adventurous summer already.

I had the privilege of going to Northern Invasion (which was an adventure in itself) and I’ve seen a handful of other concerts this summer from Mastodon and Primus to a few EDM shows. But there’s one more festival I’d like to check out before the season comes to an end. I’m talking about Nershfest (yes, it’s quite a funny name.)

It’s the fastest-growing Minneapolis-based music festival, featuring live local music, craft beer, food trucks, vendors and more. Unlike most music festivals, Nershfest blends live performances with a streaming playlist to deliver a day of music that highlights local acts and familiar tunes. You can check it out on August 11th from 2 pm to 10 pm at Inbound BrewCo in Minneapolis. Not to mention, admission is completely free.
