New Classic Rock Releases For February 2013, Cat Mother And The All Night Newsboys

One would have to admit they most definitely have one of the most original names in classic rock history that comes with an interesting story as well.Two of the founding members performed with the likes of Stephen Stills and Richie Furay in Au Go Go Singers prior to Stephen and Richie leaving to form Buffalo Springfield.

The bands debut album, 'The Street Giveth and the Street Taketh Away' ( that was produced by Jimi Hendrix) from 1969 featured a song titled, "Old Time Rock N' Roll" that hit #21 on the Billboard Charts.

The band released three albums after that and toured usually as Jimi Hendrix's opening act roughly until around 1977.

Their debut album is being reissued on CD and available on February 26th,2013 (Real Gone Records).
