It doesn't get any more purple than Deep Purple as they are rocking in 1974 with 'California Jam: Live in California '74.'

Since we're talking about 1974 that would be the Deep Purple Mark III lineup: David Coverdale, Ritchie Blackmore,Ian Paice,Jon Lord and Glenn Hughes and they're rocking at the '74 California Jam.

The California Jam usually takes place at the Ontario, Calif. Speedway. That year there was 200,000 people,not to mention; the radio and TV audience (nationwide).

You may or may not own the DVD of the show which was released in 2006, now on CD celebrating 40 years of that concert.

Available April Fool's Day, seriously.
