Jimi Hendrix and friends are gathering together for a new documentary set to drop November 5.

Paul McCartney and Steve Winwood have agreed to be a part of a new documentary called Jimi Hendrix: Hear My Train a Comin. The film will also include interviews with former bandmates Mitch Mitchell, Noel Redding, Billy Cox and engineer Eddie Kramer, plus commentary from the man himself.

Viewers can expect previously unreleased performances, old home movies, a photo gallery, letters and artwork.

Jimi’s sister, and executor of his estate Janie Hendrix is calling the documentary “An in depth look at the life and legacy of Jimi” and adds that it’s his life told through his words and his memories as well as those close to him.

Jimi Hendrix: Hear My Train A Comin' will be released on DVD and Blu Ray November 5, which is the same day it will air on PBS’s American Masters.
