Circa the 1700's; The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas (Depp) is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy. When he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of the sinister witch Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green), she dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is freed and emerges into the groovy 70's. Also starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter and Jackie Earle Haley.
