New Tech High School Location- in the Middle of Nowhere

Does this seem like it's totally out in the middle of nowhere?  I live in South St. Cloud and I was driving along and noticed the new location because of a sign.  It's near some other charter schools, but this seems really out of the way.

Maybe it's because I'm just used to having Tech HS right in town... and maybe that isn't the best place for it.  BUT with that being said, this does really seem out in the boonies.  Is this convenient for parents, kids, sports, etc?  Is this because this is the way St. Cloud is expanding?  And maybe that is the case, but this really seems to be out there.

I should add that I realize there are some thing that are being added in that area, some road construction as well, and I believe a grocery store?  At least that is the rumor, anyway.  All of that, I believe will be located across the street- 33rd street.

Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out.  But for now it seems like it's almost to Luxemburg.  Ok, not quite.  But for realz.
