Non-Profit Collecting Donations At Local Caribou Coffee

ST. CLOUD - A local non-profit has brewed-up a new donation campaign this holiday season. 'Fat Guys and Hot Chicks Active' have partnered with Caribou Coffee on Division Street and 25th Avenue in St. Cloud.

Spokesman Mitch Eickhoff says you can make a coffee donation when you stop by.

Right at the counter at Caribou you can go in and you can buy so many cups of coffee, or like a pound. And basically what they're going to do is give us the grounds, and we will give the grounds to the local facilities so they can brew the coffee there...

Eickhoff says in the past week they've had about 20 pounds of coffee donated already. He says they'll deliver the coffee grounds to several different local non-profit facilities after the holidays.

Eickhoff says they've also set-up a drop box at that Caribou Coffee location and are accepting donations of hats, gloves, coats, and toiletries through early next week.
