Paul McCartney Responds to Fan Message 50 Years Later

If you wrote fan letters to Jimmy Page, Davy Jones or even Paul McCartney and they never replied, don't lose hope. Two women got a response from Paul 50 years after they sent their message.

Back in 1963, two women loved Paul McCartney so much and wanted to meet him, so they put their voices on a reel to reel recording and sent it off. The problem is, Paul never got the tape, so their wish to meet Paul was never granted.

No one knew what exactly happened to the tape, but it was discovered and bought at a flea market. The gentleman who found it thought it was fascinating and tracked down the women. Paul also found out about the tape.

Paul thanked them for the "lovely tape" and said it was "better late than never". He told them to "keep enjoying the music. Love, Paul."
