Paul McCartney to Tour in 2012?

Is the former Beatle is planning to hit the road this year? 

According to The Yucatan Times, Sir Paul McCartney is planning a tour for 2012.

Paul hasn't announced anything official as of yet, but, rumor has it, he has been tapped to play at the London Olympics this summer as well as at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and it was announced last week that Paul will be a part of the Grammy Awards next month. Paul just wrapped up his On the Run 2011 tour in his hometown of Liverpool and is getting ready to release his new album Kisses on the Bottom February 12.

Meanwhile, Paul's son, James McCartney is getting ready to perform at the Sundance Film Festival this week and you can also catch him on David Letterman on the 30th.
