The former Beatle will be celebrated today in Los Angeles as he is set to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Believe it or not, Paul McCartney is the last remaining member of the Fab Four to get a star on the famed sidewalk. His star number is 2,460 and can be found outside of the Capitol Records building. The star will be near his former bandmates Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison.

The unveiling of the star is happening on a very special date in rock history. It was 51 years ago today that The Beatles played their very first concert at The Cavern Club in Liverpool where they hail from. It was also on this day in 1964 that The Beatles performed for the first time on The Ed Sullivan Show.
