Peter Frampton is hitting the road to celebrate the 35th (yes, it's been that long!) anniversary of Frampton Comes Alive.

The tour begins June 15th in New Jersey and goes all the way through October.

It will land in Minnesota at the State Theatre in Minneapolis on September 30th.

He'll be performing the smash album in it's entirety on the tour and he says he'll also touch on some of his other works including his days with Humble Pie.

He's stated in a recent interview he'll be able to do such a diverse set list because of the strength of the band he'll be touring with.

"The good thing about this band; Stanley Sheldon from the Comes Alive! album and I'm In You and Where I Should Be is back after many years. So this band has changed a little in as much as we're able to capture more of the old feel as well as the new feel of the more recent stuff. We have changed things up; every time we come out we do 'Show Me The Way' -- each year, we change it up".

I've only seen Frampton live on one occasion: an abbreviated performance at Moondance Jam cut short due the lateness of The Beach Boys.

It was spectacular, but it'd be incredible to see him in his own element, at his own pace performing the set list of his choosing.
