Peter Jackson’s New Hobbit Trailer Debuts Online First

The anticipation amongst LOTR fans is reaching a fever pitch as we move through what has been dubbed 'Tolkien Week' culminating on Frodo and Bilbo's birthday (as chronicled in the LOTR Trilogy books) or  'Hobbit Day', this Saturday (September 22).

Director, Tolkien curator and fantasy-visonary Peter Jackson is no fool, he's capitalized on this world-wide event with the release of a new more intense trailer for his second trilogy from JRR Tolkien's work.

Just released this morning on The Hobbit facebook page, here's only the 2nd trailer for 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey".  The trailer is expected to run in theatres tonight, but only before selected films. Not satisfied with this trailer? That's ok, if you visit the movie's website, you can actually create your own by choosing a different ending!

The film is due out on December 14th, with the second installment 'The Desolation of Smaug' December 2013 and the final chapter; 'There and Back Again' in July of 2014.
