The Vikings practice without start players running back Adrian Peterson and receiver Percy Harvin Thursday.  Defensive tackle Letroy Guion (turf toe) also missed practice for the Vikings Thursday.  Peterson sat out because of an illness but is expected to play Sunday against Detroit.  Harvin missed a 2nd straight day of practice with an ankle sprain.  Harvin was spotted in the locker room limping badly.

The Vikings are hoping that Peterson and Harvin can return to the practice field today.  Guion seems unlikely to play for the Vikings Sunday.  Fred Evans and Christian Ballard would see time at defensive tackle with Guion out.  If Harvin can't play Sunday the Vikings would use more of Devin Aromashdu and a possible season debut of Jarius Wright.

The Vikings are 1-point underdogs against Detroit Sunday at noon, pregame on WJON at 11am.  The Vikings are 5-4 while Detroit is 4-4.
