Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson appeared in a Texas courtroom today, in a pre-trial hearing where the star athlete did not speak or enter a plea. Peterson's attorney asked for a November 18th trial start, but the judge said that December 1st would be the soonest a trial could begin. The next pre-trial hearing is st for November 14th.

Peterson is charged with felony child abuse for using a wooden switch on his 4 year-old son, and has been suspended by the Vikings while the legal process plays out.
