PRINCETON - A distillery in Princeton has received a state grant to help train their employees. U.S. Distilled Products Company will use a nearly $50,000 grant to work with the Anoka-Ramsey Community College and train 31 employees on new equipment.

The grant comes from the Department of Employment and Economic Development, under the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership.

U.S. Distilled Products was founded 1981. They are a contract bottling company with about 300 workers. The company also produces its own brands of alcoholic products for distribution throughout the U.S. and internationally.

The company recently began construction on a distillery adjacent to its existing facilities in Princeton.
