Oh yes – Queen. One of the greatest rock bands of all time. Freddie Mercury’s soaring vocals blended with Brian May’s rockin’ guitar licks made for a pretty legendary combination. It’s looking like it’s going to be a big year for the two remaining members of the band (Roger Taylor and Brian May.)

They just signed on to do a ten date residency in Los Vegas over the summer and “Bohemian Rhapsody” (the Freddie Mercury bio pic) will be hitting theaters this fall. I’d probably be willing to give up a limb to have a chance to go back in time to see these guys play live, but unfortunately, things just haven’t quite been the same since the loss of Mr. Mercury.

Fortunately, you can still get catch all of those awesome tunes played live without having to travel to Vegas if you attend Killer Queen’s performance at the Mayo Civic Center Presentation Hall (Rochester) on November 4th. If you haven’t heard of Killer Queen, they’re possibly the best Queen tribute band around.

A simple YouTube search will attest to that. Now, November might seem like a ways away, but I’m letting you know about this ahead of time so you can snag your tickets quick. I expect them to sell out fairly quickly. Their performance starts at 8 pm and you can get a ticket online now for as cheap as $35.
