Rain Likely Wednesday, Thursday

UNDATED - Periods of rain and occasional thunder will be found across the area and will linger into Thursday. Rainfall will be moderate to heavy at times, possibly causing localized flooding issues.

Rainfall totals will likely exceed 1 inch for most locations with totals over 2 inches certainly possible over parts of central Minnesota.

A few strong thunderstorms are also possible, mainly this afternoon into the evening across southern Minnesota into a portion of west central Wisconsin.
