I was at work the other day and I heard someone say, “There’s no such thing as a dumb question.” First of all, that’s such a generic thing to say to someone. And second, what? Are you frickin’ kidding me? People ask me stupid crap all day long! Here are my experiences:

I’m at work sitting at my desk and someone walks up and says, “You’re here today?” Ok, that’s dumb.

I don’t like when I call someone and they pick up the phone and they ask me, “What are you doing?” Umm…I’m calling you, dumbass!

I was at the movies a couple weekends ago and ran into someone that I know. She said, “Hey, what are you doing here?” Uhh, really? What am I doing here? I’ll give you a few seconds to put it together.

Or someone is smoking a cigarette and I've heard people say, “Oh, you smoke?” Am I smoking this? Oh, I meant to shove it up my ass. Oops!

A co-worker walks up and asks, “Do these white sunglasses look good on me?” Well actually, no Rob, they don’t. You and the white sunglasses need to part ways!

And the ever classic, “Did you get a haircut?” No, today is the day nature decided to start balding me.

So, next time you hear someone say that there is no such thing as a dumb question, you can respond with, “You realize you suffer from [bleep]hole dyslexia, right?”  “Huh?”  “Yeah, you’re talking crap.”

I mean Really!
