Anthony Kedis is all healed up, they have a new guitar player  and Red Hot Chili Peppers are  packing up their gear and hitting the road for their first U.S. tour in 5 years.

Red Hot Chili Peppers had big plans to start their North American tour back in January, but Anthony Kedis hurt his foot and needed to have surgery so the winter leg of the journey was postponed so he could heal and now that he's all better the group is gearing up for a full U.S. tour tonight in Florida.

This will also be their first tour with guitar player Josh Klinghoffer. He took the place of John Frusciante in 2009. Though this is their first full tour with him, he is no stranger to their music. Josh was also with the band when they toured behind Stadium Arcadium in 2006. Red Hot Chili Peppers will be playing at Target Center October 30.

April 14 the Chili's will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside Guns n' Roses, Faces/Small Faces, Donovan and Beastie Boys.
