Richie Sambora Ticked About Jon Bon Jovi Talking Smack

The drama within Bon Jovi continues as we’re getting a different story from guitarist Richie Sambora and singer Jon Bon Jovi.

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora is apparently not pleased with how lead singer Jon Bon Jovi is handling Richie’s absence from the band within the media.

Jon went on Ellen and said that there’s no problem between them and that Richie is, always has been and will continue to be the band’s guitar player. Richie has also said there was no problem between the two, but, as it turns out, that may not be so with this new article.

In the UK’s Daily Mail, Richie spells out why he’s not with the band right now and won’t be joining them for their European leg of the tour. Sort of.

In the piece, Richie says that he isn’t having any life issues right now, which was what Jon gave as the excuse when the story first broke. He says he also didn’t fall off the wagon, which is another story Jon has given to the press, and Richie denies he’s having problems with substance abuse, as he has been known to struggle with in the past, which is another excuse Jon has used. Richie still won’t pinpoint exactly what’s going on, he says that the issues are between him and Jon.

What Richie did say is that he’s “very busy” with his fashion line called Nikki Rich and that he’s very curious to see if Jon can "pull off stadiums by himself” because he claims that Jon is making it “very difficult" for him to come back to the group.

A session guitarist named “Phil X” is philling in for Richie until phurther notice.
