Robert Plant has found a new home for his "renegade departures".

Robert Plant has moved away from the power vocals and heavy riffs that made him so famous with Led Zeppelin and has found a new niche in the Americana realm and a new record label to go along with it.

Robert just landed a deal with Nonesuch Records. Robert says that the support from label executives is "strong" and he finds it "refreshing". His first release won't be solo or with Band of Joy. His first release with Nonesuch will be with the Sensational Shape Shifters, with whom he has been playing for a few years now.

Full details and tour dates are expected to announced soon.
