Rock Talk with Drew Darkwell #17 – Yes

When I was in high school, my band director really helped sculpt my musical tastes. He turned me onto a lot of progressive rock groups, including, but not limited to – Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Rush, and Genesis, to name a few.

I recall very distinctly that his personal favorite among the prog-rock genre was Yes. Unfortunately, I think a lot of people now a days have either completely forgotten about this group, or have never heard of them in the first place, which is a shame.

They released some killer albums over the years that never quite got the recognition they deserved. But hey, if you happen to still follow them, you know that they’re still active, and you’ll be pretty thrilled to hear about what I have to say concerning the band's upcoming plans in the video.
