You know, Jethro Tull is a downright goofy band. Between Ian Anderson’s quirky songwriting and the silly, almost fairytale like flute playing, this band has always given me a good chuckle. Don’t get me wrong, I respect the guys.

They’ve been around the musical block a time or two, but there’s just something about them that I don’t get. Nevertheless, Jethro Tull has worked insanely hard over the years, and they deserve every ounce of success that they have. The band is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary and it sounds like they have some special plans in mind to commemorate such a long tenure in the music business.

It’s pretty impressive that even after fifty years together, they have no plans on slowing down anytime soon. Much respect. Check out this episode of Rock Talk to see what Jethro Tull have been up to, and what plans they have for the future.
