Who singer Roger Daltrey revealed today that he had a cancer scare back in December of 2009.

Six weeks before the band performed on the Super Bowl Half Time Show he says he noticed his voice wasn't normal and he was having trouble singing. He visited the doctor and underwent surgery to have a pre-cancerous growth removed from his vocal cord.

This all came to light as Roger is one of the leading forces behind the Teenage Cancer Trust charity.

Here is an interview Roger did with the BBC's Simon Mayo about the charity, the state of music and the ultimate question, when is the new Who record coming out?
