If you ask me it appears that good ol' Ireland has turned out to be the breeding ground for great blues guitarists, Rory Gallagher was one of those greats. In 1966 he formed a band named 'Taste' and they were very popular throughout the British Isles. The band made quite the impact in that region until shortly after they performed at The Isle of Wight festival in 1970.

Rory went solo and released his first album in 1971 which eventually led to 11 other more studio albums and six 'Live' albums.

Rory died in 1995 leaving us all a lasting legacy embodied in our minds of this classic performer.
