Rox Beat Border Cats to Improve to 2-0

The St. Cloud Rox defeated Thunder Bay 7-4 in Canada today to improve to 2-0.  St. Cloud scored 3 runs in the 7th inning to break a 4-all tie.  St. Cloud Apollo graduate Reese Gregory threw 3 shutout innings with no hits allowed and 3 strikeouts to get the win.  Kevin Burgee threw a scoreless 9th inning to get his 2nd save in as many days.

Clay Ardeeser was 2-3 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Danny Baer was 2-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI for the Rox.  St. Cloud is 2-0 and will return to Minnesota and play at Willmar at 7:05 Thursday night, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.

The Rox home opener is Friday night against Willmar at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
