The St. Cloud Rox topped the Alexandria Blue Anchors 4-3 Saturday night at Joe Faber Field. The Rox are now 13-8 on the season, 4.5 games out of first place with 14 games left in the season.

On Friday in Alexandria, St. Cloud erased an 8-0 deficit but ultimately fell 10-9. This time, the Rox watched a 2-0 lead evaporate before pulling through for the comeback win.

After St. Cloud starter Lucas Long set the Anchors down in order in the top of the first, the Rox used three walks, a single and a sac fly to take a 2-0 lead.

Alexandria scored single runs in the second, third and fourth innings to overtake St. Cloud by a 3-2 score, but the Rox answered back with a run in the bottom of the inning to tie the game at three.

In that fourth inning, Dustin Breashears lead off for the Rox with a walk and was eventually brought home with a Clay Williamson single to tie the game.

In the sixth, Eric Loxtercamp went to the opposite field with an outside pitch and tripled into the right field corner with one out. With the Alexandria infield drawn in, Rox third baseman Blake Headley singled up the middle to score Loxtercamp and tie the game.

St. Cloud will now travel to Wisconsin Rapids for interleague play. They will take on the Rafters Sunday, have Monday off, then play at Wisconsin Rapids again on Tuesday night.
